Use of fMRI and DTI in pre-surgical planning and neuronavigation

The goal of the workshop is to bring together neurosurgeons and neuroradiologists to discuss the practical aspects of pre-surgical planning and neuronavigation using fMRI and DTI and exchange their experiences.

We therefore invited teams of neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons from different European countries (Norway, Sweden, France, UK, and Italy) to discuss their workflow from radiological examination, to handling, processing, and evaluation of imaging data, pre-surgical planning, neuro-navigation, and post-operative evaluation.

We are also happy to host Surgical Theater who will present their 3D virtual reality medical platform for surgical planning and intra-operative visualization and navigation.

Our desire is to facilitate exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences, and in this way contribute to improved surgical practices and outcomes.

The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Mohn Medical Visualization and Imaging Centre, Bergen, Norway.
